Tanner Springs Park

Portland, Oregon
Tanner Springs Park
QUIET LINES

Tanner Springs.

Wet wood after rain.

City windows, scattered in pieces.

One dream returns before traffic begins.

Months of sleep.

No rest, only the waking.

Yesterday still wanders through morning.

The bed just refuses to yield.

Keep a notebook by your side.

Stories become conversations.

Sleep disruption, vivid dreams and nighttime tension

Tanner Springs Park recreates a small urban wetland among Portland’s streets and glass buildings, using native grasses, shallow water, timber walkways and fragments of reflected skyline. Rain deepens its textures rather than interrupting the experience. The park holds memory and modern life in the same frame, giving uncertain images room to remain suggestive without becoming instructions.

Letting strange dreams stay curious

Vivid dreams and broken sleep can feel meaningful without becoming diagnoses. Curiosity, brief note-taking and CBT-I principles sit beside attention to apnea, menopause and persistent disruption that merits appropriate care.
